Greco Super Power - Cherry Sunburst - Upgraded Electronics

For sale we have a wonderful Greco Super Power lawsuit Les Paul. The electronics on the guitar have been tastefully upgraded to Porter Anthem PAF's ($275) and they sound fantastic. The control cavity was also upgraded to CTS pots and bumble bee caps. The pickup selector switch seems to be upgraded as well. I presume it's a Switchcraft switch, but did not remove it to make 100% sure. 

The guitar plays wonderfully and sounds fantastic. This guitar is an incredible bang for your buck instrument if you're looking to have a really nice Les Paul in your arsenal without shelling out big money. 

As far as cosmetic condition: this guitar is worn and dinged up. There are dings around the edges and buckle rash in the back. There are dings around the edges of the headstock as well. None of the cosmetic damage is egregious, but this guitar has been played over the years and has the cosmetic wear to show for it. 

It seems the headstock was cracked at some point, but the repair is very solid and was done quite some time ago. The previous owner has had this guitar for 8 years, and he bought it with the headstock repair which has held strong with no signs of it being there. You can see a bit of finishwork with the naked eye, but we had to hit it with a UV light to really see the repair.

The frets are quite clean overall. I do believe it was refretted once in its life because the body shows a lot more wear than the frets do,  and the binding fret end nibs are worn down on most of the frets. 

To summarize: if you're a Greco collector who wants a perfect original instrument; this probably isn't the guitar for you. If you're a player who wants a killer lightweight Les Paul that plays and sounds fantastic, you better grab this one quick!
