Meet Jarryd – Guitar & Bass Instructor
Jarryd Razak
Jarryd is a passionate guitarist, bassist, and music producer from Long Island with over 5 years of teaching experience. With a background in both performance and music business, he brings a well-rounded and professional approach to each lesson. Jarryd holds a degree in Business and Audio Recording from Five Towns College, and a Master’s in Business Administration from LIU Post.
Whether you're picking up an instrument for the first time or looking to refine your skills, Jarryd makes learning fun, inspiring, and tailored to your goals. He specializes in a wide range of genres — from Rock and R&B to Progressive and Jazz — and has performed and toured with his bands Secret Gardens and Diognardi.
When he’s not teaching, Jarryd is working on his own solo projects and performing live throughout the region. His teaching style is student-focused, encouraging, and grounded in real-world experience both on and off stage.
