Used Fodera Yin Yang 5 Standard Blister Maple - String-Through Modification - 2022

For sale we have a gorgeous Fodera Yin Yang 5 that has been modified. The bass plays great with no issues and sounds wonderful. The low price is due to the modifications made to the bass. 

Modifications: from the headstock down

The original owner wanted a Chrome/Black Yin/Yang color scheme on the bass.

The tuner accents and string tree have been swapped to chrome. 

The neck is unmodified minus the tuners/string tree and has flawless fretwork. The relief is set perfectly and the bass plays great with low action. 

The control knobs have been swapped to be a mix of chrome and black.

The big modification: this bass has been drilled to be STRING THROUGH BODY instead of top-loaded. The original bridge was swapped with Badass V 5 string bridge. The original owner drilled through the body to make the bass string-through. There are two nicely filled holes from the original bridge footprint visible just above the bridge and three filled holes barely visible below the bridge. There are a few spots of reglued chip-out around the string through ferrules on the back of the bass. I've tried to photograph the bridge area to highlight the modification extensively.

The bass is otherwise quite clean with a few indents on the back of the bass from play wear. The frets are perfectly clean with no wear. 

The original CoA, build sheet, strap buttons, tools, and paperwork is included inside the original hardshell case for the bass. It has a build date of 7/14/22 

The original bridge is not included.
